What a lousy feeling

one day I was coming back from school in my car pool .When I got in to the car, I found myself sitting next to my friend's servant. Thought she was there to help with the shopping . But the woman moved closer, too close for comfort and started looking through my hair.. I shook my head in disgust wondering what this was about.Heard the maid report to her madam on the driver seat in their native language (which is greek to me) but the shaking of the head I understood ..She was checking to see if I had those little creatures in my hair. I was really disgusted but didn't say anything.The next day I asked my friend's mom :"Auntie ,what was your maid checking in my hair for?"To this she replied ''I tell her to check everyone's head if they have lice in their head " WOW! My friend's head, btw ,was a wildlife colony when I last heard..I live in fear becoz if I get it ( from who else? ) I'm dead becoz I have long, curly hair and don't want to cut it.. Have to avoid sleepovers at all costs for you know what will find their way to my head ! Maybe I should make my mom check my friend's head next ! How lousy can people get ?

Lady don't preach !

Wish adults knew how to treat kids like kids and not retards. Yesterday, I'd gone to the library to get a book. The lady at the counter talked to me like I was mentally challenged ! She talked to me so very sloooowly ." Next ......time....please ....give ...the books ....to ....me ...and............no....one ....else ....AND.......remember my....face " ( here she points to her face with both her hands, I thought at that time she just needed a torch to light up her face in the dark with that exact expression and she will win all scare games we have for halloween !)
God help me , I thought, hope this lady gets a transfer !
